What is the difference between full service design and online design?

Like full service design, we work one on one to develop a specific and unique design based on your needs and style. However online design is a streamlined process of full service, meaning the amount of deliverables and face time is considerably less. If you are looking for more custom options, one on one meetings with a designer and a less hands on approach from your end, full service would be a better fit for you. With online design, you become responsible for following through with the purchasing and installation of all the items. We give you all the tools and direction for you to be able to carry the design out on your own.

The benefit of this is you can purchase all at once or over the course of time and you don’t have to pay any extra project management fees as you typically would in full service design. If you choose to use online bathroom or kitchen design, you will have all the relevant information to communicate and work with contractors or other trades.

Is online design just home styling or can you help with remodels?

We do it all! We can consult with you on remodels of any size. We offer kitchen and bathroom design, space planning and material selection, basically any services that are offered in full service design, with a more streamlined approach. Contact us for a custom quote if you are looking for more than what we offer in our online design packages.

How do we communicate during the design process?

Email is how we will stay in constant communication with you. Phone and/or online meetings can be set up for an additional fee.

Do you design for all styles?

Yes, as a designer our design style has to be a reflection of each client. We explore your style through a design questionnaire as you check out and ask that you save images, or share your Pinterest (or similar) at the beginning of each project.

Do you offer discounts for multiple rooms?

We always strive to make design attainable and affordable. We offer custom packages with discounts on 3+ rooms. Contact us and we can discuss. We can create packages for something as small as shelf styling to designing every room in your entire home.

Will you stay in budget?

Yes, we always keep your budget in mind during the entire process. If something turns out to be too expensive, we will re-select to fit your budget.

Do you do styling projects for commercial spaces?

Absolutely! We have a lot of experience with commercial design. Styling projects are great for office spaces, restaurants and waiting areas. Contact us so we can discuss the specifics.

Will you work with any of my existing furniture?

Absolutely! During our consultation we will ask what pieces you want to keep and ask that you share pictures.

What payment methods do you accept? Is full payment due upfront?

We take all major credit cards. 3+ rooms can be broken up into 2 payments. Contact us for a custom quote.

Are all the items suggested in the design from places that I can purchase from?

Yes, every place we select is from a retailer you can order directly from. Rest assured, we don’t source from anywhere outrageously priced. We provide direct links to each item in the purchasing spreadsheet we provide you with so you can purchase items all at once, or over time. We source from all over, and have some secret sources up our sleeves as well.

We also provide purchasing at our designer discount as an additional service.

If I live locally, can I still select online design?

Of course! Online design is perfect for that busy individual or family who wants the benefit of full service design on their own time. During the process if you decide you want us to be more involved in the services we provide locally then we can definitely step in to make that happen.

Is there a return policy?

All sales are final. No refunds will be given under any circumstance.

However, to make sure we get it right most packages offer 1 round of revisions or 2 design concepts. Additional revisions can be provided at an additional cost. Our goal is to help create a space you love through a process we have designed over the years to be as seamless as possible.

How long does the process normally take?

Anywhere from 2-6 weeks depending on package size and your response time.
